Chloramphenicol Selective Supplement (100mgs/L)
E&O Laboratories Limited Chloramphenicol Selective Supplement (LS0050) is an antibiotic supplement used for the selective isolation of yeasts and moulds from food, environmental and clinical specimens.

Each 500ml vial contains:
| Chloramphenicol | 50mgs |
To reconstitute each vial, rehydrate contents of vial with 5ml of Ethyl or Methyl alcohol.
Add the contents of the rehydrated vial to 500ml of sterile base medium of choice prepared according to the manufacturer’s instructions and allowed to cool to between 45°-50°C.
Mix gently but thoroughly and pour aseptically into sterile Petri dishes.
Overnight storage at 2°-8°C is recommended to allow equilibration of the supplement within the medium. For extended storage plates should be contained in sealed plastic sleeves or similar packing.
