We care about your future
E&O transitioned into a 62.5% employee-owned business (EOT) in 2024.
This means that you can add value to the company’s future by working hard at your job, while learning new skills and enjoying extra rewards.
An employee-owned business ensures long-term job security, transparency of organisational changes and that everyone has a voice within our “One-Team” structure.
The managers and supervisors respect all the different job roles, skill levels, always demonstrating empathetic training and mentoring for all new starts and cross training of other employees for career progression.
Our professional “One-Team” culture encourages leadership and promotion from within, long-term job security and a great working environment.
E&O is continually improving productivity and efficiencies by investing in its staff, equipment, processes whilst meeting all governmental legislation around compliance of products and services.
Why are we telling you all of this?
E&O is immensely proud of its successful history in supplying laboratories with essential reagents for over 40 years.
We are looking to attract more likeminded individuals who thrive working within a dynamic fast-moving environment whilst demonstrating a self-employed attitude.
Being an employee-owned business, a proportion of the company’s profit is shared with all employees who have 12 months service, via a distribution biannual payment.
The Role: Cleanroom Production Operator
E&O manufacture sterile/aseptically poured liquid & solid mediums/reagents within cleanroom environments at our two manufacturing sites, Westfield in Cumbernauld and Burnhouse near Bonnybridge.
A cleanroom environment protects the product from any aerial or contact contamination; operators are required to wear sterile cleanroom bodysuits, hairnets, facemasks, and foot coverings.
You will be trained how to operate fully automated and semi-automated production lines, manufacturing essential microbiology/virology ready-to-use mediums for laboratory diagnostic testing.
Although this is a fast-moving, high-energy environment, which can sometimes be challenging, excellent training and support is always on hand to help you achieve our set production targets.
