We are looking for an experienced Sales Account Administrator to support our sales team. This role will include everything from taking orders, to completing export documentation, giving quotations, arranging “Teams” calls, attending exhibitions and conferences, building great customer relationships. Ideally you will have a scientific background, however this is not essential as our strong “technical team”, are always available for support.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Proactively help grow new business across all customer sectors, promoting the company, its products and services
  • Maintain high levels of communication with our team, existing and potential customers
  • Perform routine sales administration tasks including diaries, visit reports, quotations, sample requests and follow ups, KPI reports, CRM database, and export documentation in a timely manner, reaching agreed targets where applicable
  • Promote the brand by preparing for and taking part in sales meetings and events such as trade shows, exhibitions, preforming presentations and customer visits, ensuring any required follow up is completed in a timely manner

Key skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Be very attentive, a great listener, with the ability to think on your feet
  • IT literate including excel, word and PowerPoint
  • The flexibility to travel as the role requires you to be able to attend sales meetings, conferences, and events which are occasionally out with the UK
  • Previous experience working in sales would be an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and administration skills
  • Be proactive with Export Regulation documentation changes ensuring compliance at all times
  • A scientific/microbiology background would be an advantage

Shift Pattern/Hours of work:

Dayshift: Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 16.30 (40 hours per week), although flexibility is required depending on workloads/the requirement to travel.

 

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
