(LS0011) is a supplement used to enhance the isolation and
aerotolerance of Campylobacter spp and can be used in both solid and liquid media and generally used in conjunction with media prepared to Skirrow, Butzler or Preston formulations.

Formula
Each vial contains raw materials at a concentration of the following per litre:
| Sodium Thiosulphate | 250mg |
| Pyruvic Acid | 250mg |
| Iron Sulphate 7-Hydrate | 250mg |
Procedure
To reconstitute the contents of each vial, aseptically add 2ml of Sterile Distilled Water. Close the vial and gently agitate to assist reconstitution. Avoid frothing and add the contents of the vial to an appropriate volume of sterile base medium of choice prepared according to the manufactures instructions and allowed to cool to 45-50°C. Mix gently but thoroughly and pour aseptically into sterile Petri dishes.
Overnight storage at 2-8°C is recommended to allow equilibration of the supplement within the medium. For extended storage plates should be contained in sealed plastic sleeves or similar packing.
